Vacancy for Consular Clerk

The Embassy of the Republic of India in Sofia, is looking for a suitable candidate for filling up immediate vacancy of Consular Assistant 

  • Essential qualification requirements:
  • Should be a graduate from a recognized University. 
  • Should possess good command over English and Bulgarian languages, both spoken and written.
  • Should have Administrative & Organisational skills.
  • Should be proficient in typing and be conversant with normal office work and practices.
  • Should have excellent working knowledge of Computers including MS-Word, MS-Excel, etc.
  • Should possess a pleasing personality.
  • Should be a permanent resident of Bulgaria.

      Preference will be given to candidates willing to join immediately.

(ii)    Indicative Description of work:

  • Manning the Reception Desk of the Mission, answering phone calls.
  • Assist Attache(Consular) in Consular matters (scheduling appointments,scrutinizing  visa application forms,collection of fees, Printing of Visa stickers etc).
  • Prepare documents for VAT refund, diplomatic bag collection, ID Cards, registration of cars etc.
  • Any others work as assigned from time to time.

(iii)  SalaryEuro 675 / BGN 1320(Gross) ,In addition, the following are also admissible

  • Social Insurance,health Insurance,Pension Fund & Insurance etc amounting to    BGN 251 is also payable  monthly by the Embassy to Bulgarian agency concerned.
  • One month’s salary is paid as Bonus every year.
